Found in Ecuador and Peru, this is a warm to cool growing epiphyte. It blooms with 1.2" to 1.8" long, single flowered inflorescence producing a single apricot and white sweetly fragrant flower. Flowering usually occurs in the early winter, and it can be profuse.
This species does well either potted or mounted if grown in cool to warm temperatures, kept moist, and given moderate light to heavy shade. Like many species it can adapt to many media, sphagnum moss, bark and perlite or tree fern fiber.
This is a blooming size plant.
